QR Codes for the Hebrew Books Reprints Program
We are happy to announce that effective today we are adding QR codes for all reprints processed through the Hebrew Books reprints program. QR codes are compact barcodes that let smartphones such as iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, etc. visit websites encoded on physical objects. In our case, we are using them to point back to the original archive from which we reprint our books so users can read them on their mobile devices.
Major Changes for PublicDomainReprints.org
As of Sept 2010, PublicDomainReprints.org will transition over the next few months to a more general search engine for public domain books and related reprints.
Lower Pricing for Hebrew Books Reprint Program
We are happy to announce lower pricing on all reprints through our Hebrew books reprints program. All new reprints already reflect the updated pricing, and we will be updating all of our existing reprints over the next few months as well.
Enhanced European Options for Hebrew Books Reprints Program
We are happy to announce the addition of new European options for the Hebrew books reprints program operated via our PublishYourSefer.com subsidiary. We have added Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.de as new options for orders, which allow for faster printing and cheaper shipping. These options will automatically be shown for any titles in the program that they are available for.
PublishYourSefer.com Re-Opens to the Public
After a three month hiatus and due to increased demand, we are happy to announce that PublishYourSefer.com is once again offering printing and publishing services for the general public.
We have also added a new pricing page explaining more clearly how much we are charging to our services.
PublishYourSefer.com Re-organized
As part of our larger corporate reorganization process, as of close of business on September 17th, 2009, PublishYourSefer.com and its sister site, JudaicaOnDemand.com will no longer offer printing and publishing services for the general public. Our joint reprints program in conjunction with HebrewBooks.org remains unaffected and can be located at www.PublishYourSefer.com/reprints. PublishYourSefer.com will remain as a brand name of our company dedicated solely to the reprints program and similar projects.
